Membership

Welcome to the membership section of the American Worldwide Chaplaincy Association. Joining our ranks is a significant calling for dedicated individuals committed to our global mission of evangelism.

This section provides detailed information on the path to becoming a commissioned chaplain. Our members are held to the highest standards of integrity and are selected based on specific criteria, including a minimum age requirement , advanced academic degrees , and the completion of a specialized training program. Explore the pages below to understand the qualifications, duties, and the unique identity that defines our chaplains.

Qualifications

    • Education:
       

      • Field Officer Commission: Requires a master's degree from Ecua University.

      • General Officer Commission: Limited to those with a doctoral degree from Ecua University.
         

    • Training: Must complete the prescribed chaplain training course provided by the association.

Duties & Code of Conduct

    • Integrity: Members must maintain the highest integrity and act in a way that brings glory to Jesus Christ, the church, and the association.
       

    • Church Service: Must fulfill the responsibilities described in 1 Timothy 5:1-13 and serve the church with full dedication.
       

    • Activity Reports: Active duty chaplains must submit written quarterly activity reports.
       

    • Annual Dues: Members must pay the prescribed annual membership fees.

Uniforms

  • Chaplain Academy
     

    • Ecua University is the official officer academy of this association.
       

    • A regular master's or doctoral degree from Ecua University is required to be commissioned as a Field Officer or General Officer in this association.
       

  • Basic Chaplaincy Training
     

    • All members are required to complete the association's prescribed training course to cultivate the basic knowledge and professionalism of a chaplain.
